DX-Ball is a well-known Breakout clone, originally developed in 1996 by Michael P. Welch and later ported to JavaScript in 2012 by BorodinART. Use the paddle to bounce the ball toward the colorful blocks. Destroy all blocks on the screen to advance to the next level. The game features 50 different levels (boards). Your score is displayed in the upper-left corner during gameplay and can be entered into the high score table at the end of the game. For a better experience, you can maximize the game with [F11] or mute the sound with [S] if needed. Enough talk – have fun playing!

The original Windows® version by Michael P. Welch is still available for free download at the Internet Archive.
Under the name BlitWise Productions, Michael P. Welch also offers the worthy successor Super DX-Ball Deluxe.
